DHURA policies

Fair, transparent
and route-aware.

Send cancellation requests in writing by email or WhatsApp. The date DHURA receives the request is treated as the cancellation date.

15–29 days50%
8–14 days75%
Within 7 days or no-show100% · No refund

Confirmed hotel, homestay, permit, reserved vehicle or disclosed non-refundable supplier expenses may also be deducted where applicable. DHURA will provide a clear calculation and will not charge the same loss twice.

02 · Refunds

How approved refunds are processed.

  • Approved refunds are normally initiated within 7–14 working days.
  • Bank or payment-provider processing time may be additional.
  • Refunds normally return through the original payment method.
  • Unavoidable supplier deductions will be communicated clearly.
03 · New dates

Rescheduling a journey.

Date changes depend on availability, seasonal access, revised stay or vehicle rates, permit validity and non-transferable supplier charges.

Where possible, DHURA may offer revised dates or travel credit. The traveller pays any price difference or expense already incurred.

04 · Mountain conditions

Road closures and unavoidable events.

Landslides, damaged roads, heavy rain, snowfall, government or military restrictions, permit suspension, local disruption, natural disaster or serious safety concerns may affect a journey.

DHURA will first try a safe alternative route or revised itinerary. If this is not possible, rescheduling, travel credit or a recoverable refund may be offered after unavoidable expenses paid to service providers.

05 · DHURA cancellation

If we must cancel.

If DHURA cancels for an operational reason within its reasonable control, the traveller may choose an alternative departure, a suitable replacement journey or refund of the applicable recoverable amount paid to DHURA.

06 · Unused services

No-show, late arrival and early departure.

No guaranteed refund applies if a traveller does not report, arrives late and misses a confirmed service, voluntarily leaves, refuses a safe available alternative without valid reason, or cannot travel because required documents were not provided.

Important note

Your final confirmation comes first.

Package-specific deadlines, disclosed non-refundable expenses and payment conditions will be shared before payment and repeated in the written booking confirmation.
