The short story
The mountain and the lake.
Adi Kailash is a sacred mountain in the border region of Pithoragarh, traditionally associated with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
The journey follows the Dharchula–Gunji side of Kumaon before turning into the Kuti valley towards Jolingkong. At the heart of the experience are the mountain, Parvati Sarovar and the quiet ritual landscape around them.
This is a sensitive high-altitude journey. Permits, health requirements, road access, local operations and seasonal conditions are checked before confirmation.
